Dear Norfolkfriend
When I got my first dog, a Westie, in 1984 I became a member of the German Terrier-Club. Two years later I bought the second Westie, a little bitch from the same kennel. Then I started my showcareer, and in 1988 my kennel name Marshmallow's was registered and I started to breed Westies.
It was then that I met my first Norfolk terrier and it was love at first sight, although it remained a secret passion at the beginning. In the following years I observed the Norfolk breeding and was in occasional contact with the few breeders in Germany.
In 2001 my dream became reality: Allright Tinkerbell, which was bred by Dr. Frauke Hinsch, chose my husband and me as her new mum and dad. At home she turned out to be an angel with a devil on her shoulder and wrapped us around her little paw in no time at all. From then on my Westie-ladies’ life was not a bed of roses any more and they were full of respect for Tinka.
But one Norfolk is nothing because – as the saying goes: “Norfolks are like peanuts, one is not enough.”.That’s why by now a pack of five is ruling over house and home. Apart from having fun with our lively dogs, my Norfolk friends and I share the intention of breeding healthy, beautiful dogs full of temperament.
